This was the third place in the North East we’d visited looking for a wood burning stove. A World of Fires was by far the best in terms of price, options, and customer service. We chose a log burner that would fit well in our home, it was a good price and unlike a previous place, the survey was free.

The fitters came out on the morning of the agreed date, put it in with minimal disruption and left our home as clean as when they arrived after giving a demo and some helpful information about use and maintenance.

I want to give a special mention to Jan. she could not have done more for us. She was very engaging, offered some great advice whilst being transparent about costs. Jan is one of the reasons we went ahead, her customer service was top level. The same can be said for Glen when doing the survey and the two gentlemen who installed our new purchase. Highly recommended.

We are so impressed by Glen at A World of Fires. Our new house has an existing Bellfires gas fire which hasn’t been working since before we moved in and Bellfires engineers are scarce.
Without any obligation whatsoever, Glen very kindly spent a long time on the phone helping us troubleshoot possible problems. This level of generosity, skill and good old fashioned values are definitely worth a shout out!

Had a media wall built on the 4th October really lovely. We wanted the copper strips but Glen the owner could't get them so we settle for walnut wood strips. The joiner and his assistant were really good and so was the electrican and the audio lad Jason. But give Glen his due he gave us a discount he did'nt have to but it was lovely. Ignore the tape on the insert as that was for the metal strips to glue to set we took them off on Saturday. 'Well done to you all'

Fantastic from start to finish, the showroom team are extremely helpful and have a brilliant range of fires and media wall ideas on display. The build itself has been finished to a very high standard. I can't recommend enough!

Could not recommend Glen and the team he uses at world of fires enough. From the initial uncertainty of what we wanted to there guidance on what would or wouldn’t work.

Friendly informative and no hard sell

The tradesman used are of such a high standard from the joiner, electrician and plastering team to the tv install guy.

Everything done in 2 days.

Would not hesitate to recommend.

Had a media wall installed by Glen and his team, got to say we absolutely love the finished product! The whole process went smoothly from removing the old fireplace to fitting our new fire and building false chimney breast. Would definitely recommend World of fires.

For our new built Fire breast media wall, new 1.5m Onyx Avanti fire, This company arranged everything. The gas man, The Builder, The Plasterer & The TV Bracket guy, all worked efficiently, promptly & answered all the questions that we had. They had the job complete within 2 days, AMAZING.

Fantastic showroom, brilliant customer service. We had two fires installed in January, one gas and one log burner and we absolutely love both! The installation team were brilliant and were really tidy. Would definitely recommend.

I can’t praise these guys enough. From the showroom staff Louise and Jan to the fitters, plasterers and tv guy I knew we were dealing with professional staff. Clean, tidy and respected not only the job but also our home. I would recommend them with no hesitation
